A Footie card for my grandaughter

It's my football playing grandaughters birthday at the beginning of March. Lacey is a gorgeous tomboy with beautiful long hair but loves playing for her local junior soccer team in Yorkshire. I've been very MSE and used up some blue Pink Petticoat papers I had and it's also my first coloured image with my brand new Promarkers. Image came with the help of wbr on the MSE forum.

MSE Mothers Day card - Sepia Tones

After the brilliant inspiration from the fab Gemma I thought I'd have a go at the MSE challenge of a Mothers Day card. The paper is from a gorgeous Stampin' Up set I bought from Monica and so is the scallop punch I used on the print flowers. These flowers were an inspired idea by Wendy Smedley and I used loads of sepia and gold ink to give the flowers a lift. The image is from a kit by Hunkydory on Create & Craft.tv. The other cream flowers and ribbon I bought in Canada at a dollar store, 15 flowers for about 60p, a bargain and I had fun inking the edges with the sepia and gold inks. The card is for my wonderful Mother in Law, bless you Mum! I'm going to enter this is in a couple of challenges too. (if I can find them!)

A Christmas Wedding

Just before Christmas I covered some sweet jars for my friend Penny's daughter's wedding. I was away in Canada when the wedding day came but Penny, Louise and Ian kindly took a photo of the jars and have sent the photo as a greetings card. It's now a special keepsake for me. How fab is that!
'Thank You' Louise and Ian and Penny too! Every happiness wished for you both. It was my pleasure.

I've made a couple of Thank You cards for my Red Hat friends in Canada. I'm quite pleased especially with the one on the right. The flowers are decoupage Kanban kits (I think)
