DT Cards

Now that they are on show over on the fab Creative Craft World Challenge Blog I can show the two cards I made.

This image is called 'flower fairy' by Lil Diva Stamps from Stitchy Bear Stamps .  It's been created for a special friend who is a Goth and a Lady of the Black Hats.  Minimal colours but lots of sparkle.  I inked the edges of a Craftworks card and then added a paper that I had sprayed myself. My fairy is coloured with shades of grey Copic markers.   I cut the image with my Nestie circles, printed my own greeting and punched it out with my trusty SU oval and scalloped oval punches.  Then, to give it height, I mounted the greeting onto a gold Nestie cut oval.  The corners were cut with an MS Stewart punch and I painted the white roses to match, the bow was tied with a Boweasy.  I have had an email from my friend who loved it.

The second card I used the flower fairy again but added a lot more sparkle to her, I used ribbon threaded through punched holes to soften the edge.  I coloured her with a mixture of Copic Ciaou and Promarkers to co-ordinate with the background papers from Papermania's Rose Garden.  Another greeting from Craftwork Cards mounted on a scalloped circle punched by another trusty SU punch.  Card candy by Craftwork Cards as well.

I like to enter my pink and green fairy in the

Absolutely gorgeous cards Jennie. I love how you have shown that stamps can be made to look so different just by changing the backing and embellishments.

Its been a huge pleasure working with you,as a guest DT over at Creative Craft World. You have been a great asset to the team. Thankyou for all your hard work
