Use Not Stroke - My New Year's Resolution

I am a bit of a hoarder of beautiful papers. I've made a New Year's Resolution to use them on various projects instead of leaving them in a box and hating myself for thinking about cutting into them.  Here's the first project using Graphic 45's A Ladies' Diary papers. I wonder if I have maybe gone over the top on this so please let me know.

I absolutely love these papers and I really had to have a steady nerve as I cut into them. Still, at least I've got some more.

To the beautiful artwork I've added a couple of Memory Box dies  and some lace leaves. Ribbon and buttons are from my ever expanding stash and the flowers are mostly Wild Orchid Crafts.  The gorgeous bit of sparkle is a stick  pin I purchased from Ebay. Tucked behind the main image is a sweet little 'postcard' stamp from Crafty Individuals, it's so pretty when coloured with inks and chalks.

Jennie, I don't think that you went over the top, and I totally understand your fear of cutting into a beautiful sheet of paper. I love how you added the smaller tidbits around your main image. Lace and flowers here and there really pull it all together.
Thank you for playing along with us @ OCC. However, we have a limit of challenges that can be combined with ours, and you excede that. But, I do love what you did!
