Black & White Christmas Card.

One of my lovely sister-in-law's loves black and white and to tie in with the freebie that Tams gave us and for Karen's sketch  challenge on MSE for Winter Wonderland I've come up with this card. (three in one, not bad!)

The main tree image is from Tams, as above and printed and then cut with a plain circle nestability.  I backed the image onto black card from DCWV.  The design paper is from Pink Petticoat printed in silver.  Ribbon and lace from my stash and the droplets are part of a ribbon trim I've had for years and never known what to do with.  The sentiment is my own and both are cut with SU punches from Monica. Card candy from Craftwork Cards.

I'd like to enter this card into the following:-

Scorpio Man

My eldest son is now 45, which is so scary as I remember the day he was born so well. Where does time go and why, when your children are grown up, does it go so quickly?

The background paper is from SU's Elegant Soiree kit and I used some brown card to mount it on and the tape is by Stampin' Up as well.  I love the image I found on the internet of the scorpion's tail.

Bea's Birthday.

It's my youngest granddaughter's birthday this weekend.  Her mum came across her looking in the mirror and asked her what she was doing, She replied, "I'm making my eyebrows dance".  I love this digital image from Sassy Cheryl's   We've all pulled faces in front of the mirror, haven't we!! Haven't we?????

The paper is from the kit called Little Check by Pink Petticoat and I mounted the Promarker and Copic coloured image onto a Nestabilities Lacy Square. The gorgeous pink pearlised card is by Imag-e-nation  Bea's name and age were cut on the Cricut and I finished off with a real silk ribbon and some gems.

I also made her some party bag labels featuring Hello Kitty for the girls and a pirate for the boys, all cut with the Cricut.

Happy Birthday, Bea

Hot Chocolate

I was inspired by MSE's very own Choccy (Oona) to create a card in pink, chocolate and cream.  The image must be a chocolate lover's dream, soaking in a tub of hot chocolate with your laptop by your side, it was given to me by the artist Kat Beyer which was really kind of her.  ( I hope you like it, Kat)

Thanksgiving.

Every year in November the theme for my card swap with US Red Hatters is Thanksgiving and I love the Autumn colours that are around.

Here's the card I made and now I only have 10 others to swap with now, a few more ladies joined and we were split into two lists which makes it easier on the purse.  The paper and image are from a kit from the  D.A.I.S.I.E. Company and are cut with the new Nestabilites dies, Lacy Squares and  the sentiment I generated on the computer and cut with SU oval and scallop punches from the fab Monica.

Playing catch-up

What with one thing and another I got very behind with my card swaps over on MSE and completely forgot about a swap with Niki.  I've had these pretty little Gladioli stems from Wild Orchid Crafts for a while  and they are so sweet.  The paper is a piece of Basic Greys Capella with a plain card printed with Pink Petticoat's willow green.
