The April LOTV Obsession

I'm continuing my April obsession with these lovely Lily of the Valley images for birthday cards.  We had a Red Hat Sunday lunch a week ago and one of our members, Janet celebrated her 70th birthday with us. It was a long and leisurely lunch and there was lots of fun and laughter.

This is her card~

The next birthday was Chris's and this is her card~

Finally, Kay's birthday on the 26th, one more to make!  Papers and accesories from my stash.

OSAAT Challenge # 58 "Make It Sassy"

I was over the moon when I was asked to be a guest DT member by Marjo at OSAAT a couple of weeks ago.  On my card for this week's challenge "Make It Sassy" I've used one of Stitchy's digi images called Steppin' Out. With beautiful background papers from Polar Bear called Going in Circles and that fabulous pose from the digi image it just called for a Mae West quote.  An  Elegant Square card From Craftwork Cards, beautiful hellebore flowers from Wild Orchid and a Marianne Designs flourish to finish......... and a rock on her fingers.  Diamonds definitely are a girls best friend!

A Birthday Card for Cath.

Another lovely Lily Of The Valley image for this card for another Red Hatter.  I love all these images but must try and use something else but I keep returning to them.

A piece of Basic Grey's Capella, a piece of rose's ribbon for decoration with a Marianne Designs flourish.  Topped of with a sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

A New Baby Boy

My daughter's friend has just had a baby grandson added to her family and I was asked to make a card for James.  Spring is definitely on its way with this little lamb's arrival.

I knew  the Pink Petticoat papers would give me a perfect background and these are Stripes and Fairy Dots in duck egg blue.  The sweet Sugar Nellie image is Bambino and I've coloured it with Promarkers and Copics and the little hat I've highlighted with a Sakura Souffle White Pen. The image was cut using Nestbailities Petite Scallop Ovals. A strip of white card I've cut with a Martha Stewart punch.  Flowers by Wild Orchid and the leaves from a Marianne die.  Sentiment is my own. Just a couple of blue pearls from a Canadian Dollar Store to finish.

April Birthdays.

Lots of birthdays this month amongst our chapter members , this is the first one.  For my birthday a wonderful person called Margaret (visit her blog here it's brilliant!) gave me some Lily Of The Valley images, this is the first card I've made.   I can't remember where the background paper came from, hopefully someone will let me know.  The flowers and leaves were cut with a Marianne die.  One of Netty's lovely sentiments to finish.  I couldn't have put the finishing touches without a good friend, Jaqui, thanks you for your brilliant help.
