Where has this week gone, I've seemed to have been driving here there and everywhere this week and forgot all about my little place here. I am a very lucky person in having a fab mother-in-law who loves the cards I make and this is the one I sent her.
The image I found on a brilliant site here called The Sum of All Crafts and you can find some amazing vintage style pictures that can be downloaded for free. I framed it very simply in a dull gold die cut. The background paper is from Kanban called Apricot Dreams and it's gorgeous apricot and grey designs. The flower is a Rose Creation by Spellbinders with several coats of Glossy Accents. The seam binding was coloured with a Promarker pen and I've used a self generated greeting mounted on a Spellbinders die.
I'd like to enter the following challenges:-
One Stop Craft Challenge #175 ~ Clean and Simple.
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #178 Shabby Chic/Vintage

Girly
Our theme this week over on the One Stitch at a Time Challenge blog here is 'Girly'.
I'm sure we all love making girly cards and my teamies this week are no exception, pop over to the blog and enter this beautiful challenge No:105 that Choccy has set. Please leave us a comment, if you have time, it is always appreciated by everyone.
To win our fab sponsor's Bunny Zoe's Crafts wonderful prize of a £10 gift voucher you must use one of the gorgeous images that you can find at Stitchy Bears Stamps on-line shop. It's so very easy to purchase and you will be spoilt for choice from the hundreds of images.
All other entries that do not use an image from the Stitchy Bear Stamps will be entered into a draw to win $3 to spend at the online store. There are freebies available and a fantastic variety of images at lovely prices and these change every month. You'll soon build up a library of images that you will use time and time again.
For my card I've used Angel Wing by Digi Blessings and it can be found right here. I know I'm going to use this image again, it's so lovely.
The background paper is from Ella Blue (an all-time favourite) and with the image I've used Nestabilities Labels One. I've coloured the angels with a mixture of Promarkers and Copics. The insertion lace across the middle is by Wild Orchid Crafts and I've topped it with some beautiful flower ribbon that my lovely friend Karen sent me. Please pop over and have a look at her blog, she makes amazingly beautiful cards. I've used a Marianne swirl die and let the touching sentiment speak for itself.

Not well again!
One of my beautiful Red Hat friends is poorly again this year and I've sent her a little card. The House Mouse stamp 'Monica with Blankey' always seems to fit, it has to be one of those stamps you always seem to reach for. When we are feeling low I'm sure we would all like to snuggle up with our favourite blankey.
The background paper is my favourite of the moment, Isabel from First Edition and I've used the Lotus flower pendant die from Spellbinders to mount the image. Some lovely Ballet Blue ribbon from SU, tulips and blossom flowers from Wild Orchid and some stash pearls to finish.
I'd like to enter the following:

OSAAT Challenge #103
The challenge this week over at the OSAAT Challenge blog is to 'Recycle/Reuse'. Our fab sponsor this week is Creative Craft World who are offering a brilliant prize of some Promarkers.
For my DT card I chose the gorgeous Teapot from Hope Jacare Doodles. The Teapot has been coloured with Copic Pens and simply matted up with plain white card coloured with the pink pen used on the main image. The sentiment is from a freebie set from Paper Garden Projects and the flower is made us from little satin padded hearts, coloured again with a pink Copic pen. These have been in my stash from when I first started scrapping and topped with a little flower from Wild Orchid Crafts. The gorgeous lace was part of a lovely pressie from Karen, please check out her very beautiful cards here. All of the different parts of the card sit on a lovely paper from the first Editions Isabel pad.
Please stop by the challenge blog here and see all the gorgeous creations from my teamies.
