I Forgot All About This One!

It was a Red Hat friends birthday back in May. I didn't blog her card as soon as I made it as she often pops in to see what I'm making. So, here's your birthday card, Marilyn and I hope you liked it.

I love the Justrite background stamps with newsprint features and I managed to find these little perfume bottle stamps in the US. the paper flowers I've had for ages and I think the printed paper is by Kaiser Kraft or Prima and popped on top of s page of French Script by Pink Petticoat. A Memory Box die to add some extra pink.

Time for another challenge at OSAAT

There's another lovely challenge over at the One Stitch At a Time Challenge Blog here.  The theme this week is 'Anything Goes' and is always popular.

The rules are very simple:

You can enter the challenge as many times as you like when you use a Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet image from the many creators at the Store. The prize up for grabs this week is ALL the images used by the DT in Challenge #172.  Pop the hash sign (#) after your name so our Choccy can find you. That's over $20 worth of images.  You may enter only three times with a non-Stitchy Bear image and you will be entered into a draw for a prize of $3 to spend in the store.

No back linking, your entry must have been created after the blog goes live at 12 noon on Sunday.

You must link back to the challenge blog on your own blog.

Here's my DT card for this week. the image is called Playing with Threads by My Heart Pieces. She was perfect for a card I wanted to make for my beautiful sis-in-law, Helen.  Helen was a wedding dress designer and has also taught at college.

I've coloured her with a mix of Flexmarkers and Promarkers and double matted her with a couple of Spellbinders 7"x5" Matting Basics. I love these as I can't cut butter straight. The background paper is from Papermania called Bookprint. The tape measure ribbon I found at Craftwork Cards ages ago. The other charms, tiles, buttons and spool came from a lovely lady on Facebook called Jude.

I would like to enter the folowing:

Dutch Dare Card Challenge #227 - In Stitches

It's A Sunny OSAAT Sunday Again.

Not sure if it is in your space but in mine it's sunny and I can see lots of yachts out on the river. There's quite a breeze so good sailing weather.  It's time for a lovely new challenge on the One Stitch At a Time challenge blog here.  The challenge theme this week is 'Use Your Favourite'. Wow, lots of gorgeous ideas there, markers, distress inks, ribbon, lace, flowers and glitter, whatever is your favourite.

There aren't may rules to enter our challenge each week in fact they are quite simple:-

It must be a new project created after our challenge date, no backlinking.

You may enter to win the top prize of three Promarkers from Creative Craft World with a Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet image. If it's a non-digi image then you  may enter 3 times only and will be entered into a separate draw for $3 to spend in the store.

For my card this week I've used one of the beautiful papers designed by Panda Bear Designs called Butterflies and you can find it here.  The image I've used is called Butterfly Love by Stitchy Bear and is one of my favourite images. I've coloured her with my favourite pens, Flexmarkers.   I've used aanother favourite which is a Memory Box die. I generated the sentiment on the computer with a font called Butterfly.  A little black butterfly to finish the punched out sentiment. These are tow Stampin' Up punched that I use a lot. Just a little glitter on my fairy's wings. I actually flipped her horizontally so that the lovely black butterflies are seen.

Donna Marie's Promarker Colourings

You can enter this week's challenge as many times as you like if you are using a Stitchy Bear image but for a non-Stitchy Bear image you are allowed a maximum of 3 entries and will be placed into a draw for $3 to spend in the store. If you are using a Stitchy Bear image, please put a hash sign (#) after your name to help our Choccy to find you.

For my card this week I used an amazing image by BeeBeeKakes called Goth Wedding.

Isn't it a great image and so perfect for a couple that love the extra-ordinary. I coloured the image with Flexmarkers and mounted it on a couple of the Spellbinders Matting Basics die cuts. The spider's web is a  Memory Box die and I have self-generated the sentiment (from a suggestion from my other half) and made it look like a tombstone.  A black cat and a bat to finish.

A lovely new challenge at OSAAT

There's a lovely new challenge over on the OSAAT blog here. The theme this week is 'Anything Goes'.  It means just that, we would love to see your creative endeavours.  The prize this week is all the digi images used by the DT in Challenge #168, so that's over $20 in lovely digi images. For a chance to win this fab prize you must use a Stitchy Bear image that you can find in the store.  Please place a hash tag (#) after your name so that our Choccy can easily find you.

If a non- Stitchy image is used in your creation then you are allowed to enter just three times and your name will be entered into a draw to win $3 to spend in the Stitchy Bears Digi Outlet.  There are 19 creators instore so plenty to choose from.  Remember there is still an ongoing DT call too.

For my card this week I've used Bird House by My Heart Pieces and isn't it a cute image?

I've inked the edges lightly with some Weathered Wood distress ink and chosed a pale blue paper from my ever increasing stash.I cut the image out using a plain Spellbinders circle die and just cut the bottom out so that is overlapped the Spellbinders Decorative Circle. I've used Flexmarkers to colour the image and decorated it with some Wild Orchid flowers and silver sprays cut from a Memory Box die.  The sentiment is self generated and cut with a couple of trusty Stampin' Up punches.
