Happy New Year and a 'New' Challenge at OSAAT

Happy New Year to you all and it's time for a brand 'New' Challenge over at the OSAAT Challenge. Our theme this first challenge of the year is 'Some thing New'. It could be a new job, a new home, a new baby or just celebrating some thing new. Our sponsor this week is our very own Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet and the prize is $9 to spend in the store, there are twenty designers in our store and there is sure to be something that tickles your creative spirit.  Our rules are very simple:-

1. You may enter as many times as you like when using a Stitchy Bear digi stamp. But, if you choose to enter without using one of the images from the store then you will be entered into a separate draw for $3 to spend in the store.

2. You must link back to our blog.

3. No backlinking, this must be a new creation blogged after our challenge goes live.

I created my card this week for a particular couple. My next door neighbours of 13 years have moved to Ireland and are hoping to open a B&B over there. Good Luck, Sue and Terry.

I chose a design by Reece's Scrap Pieces called 'Going Up' it reminded me very much how their former home had been decorated in the past.  Included in the images was a pre-coloured one that I have used. There are quite a few pre-coloured images in the store and these make for a very quick card, there's always time later to colour the image in your own colours. I've kept it simple with some lovely spotty paper and a Memory Box die cut. A self generated sentiment punched out with a couple of Stampin' Up punches.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

A Gem of a Challenge #104 - Something New

A Creative Romance - Something New

Oh Jennie, what a very pretty New Home card for your friends ......and how lovely that there's a likeness to the decor of the home you knew your friends living in. I'm sure that they will feel very loved and appreciated when they pick up on your inspiration. What a very beautiful die, so delicate and sweet ...perfect for your sentiment. Love Ingrid xxx ♥

I loved this when I saw it on the challenge blog - it's so vibrant! Your additions are perfect because they complement the image without overpowering it,
