A couple of weeks ago I had an awful pain in my shoulder and called my osteopath for an appointment to get some relief. Over the weekend the most horrendous blisters appeared on my neck, off to the docs and had it confirmed as Shingles. Whatever next! Lots of soothing Aloe Vera and Calendula Gel did the trick in keeping everything calm but it looked like I had an awful orangey green tidemark on my neck that any schoolboy would have been proud of. All better now, just waiting for the scars to go.
Well, it's another Sunday and time for our fortnightly challenge at the One Stitch At A Time Challenge Blog. The challenge theme is 'Anything Goes with a Flower'. So, let's see your creations embellished with some lovely flowers or may be a flower stamp or image. You can find the rules for the challenge here and they are very few. A gorgeous set of five September images for the winner.
For my card this week I chose an image by Scrappers Delight called Crafty Shopper, a girl after my own heart! You can find her hereI've coloured her with Copics (love the skin colours) and Promarkers. I've used a shaped card from Craftworks Card and cut my corresponding shapes with the Spellbinders Borders die, The background paper is from my stash and my Crafty Shopper was also cut out with a die from the Spellbinders Floral Ovals set. My flowers have been made by me using some of the handmade papers I've had since I first started card making. I was really please with them. I've finished my Crafty Shopper with a simple sentiment from Craftworks Cards.
